Sunday 20th February

The Apex is a wonderful addition to Bury St.Edmunds. My family and I wandered by this afternoon, Sunday 20th February to have a look at The Milkmaid folk banners and spotted that the monthly dance event had just begun. We had a coffee and enjoyed the ambience and music when my middle daughter spotted a fella in a kilt and was keen to know if he was going to play the bagpipes! We then had a real treat watching different dance groups around Suffolk showcase their fantastically different dance styles, from Scottish Reels to Argentine Tango to Contemporary Dance. It was a great buzz and a brilliant community event.
Check out Footloose at The Apex!

I visited your craft market on Saturday at the Apex and thought the exhibitors were lovely.

The day worked out very well for us in the end and we would certainly love to be part of future events.

… this week from a Jacqueline Holmes saying:

Just to say that the recent craft day at the club was of a high standard and I enjoyed attending.

From Local Secrets, November 2010

...Their promise of an 'eclectic mix' of items was lived up to with paintings and artwork, handmade soft furnishings and homewares, crocheted clothing, homemade produce and preserves, jewellery and gorgeous antique wooden boxes. This was a great place to avoid the crowds and arctic temperatures but still find some unique and high quality gifts and treats for all the family, and with the collective also providing a cafe for the day, this ticked all our boxes.
